about

This album was originally Released in a slightly different version, under the now defunct 'Chromalith' Alias, the original title was 'music for wiki tangents and long walks at night' and is exactly what I intended it for.

This album was made during a weeklong seclusion experiment while I was quasi homeless living in a tent in a friends backyard (a situation I was in for approx one and a half years)

I would sleep during the day and make music at night with headphones, and did my best to avoid seeing or talking to anyone during this period.

Because I was outside during this whole period, I would feel the need to stay REALLY quiet, as the dead silence of night would make any noise I made seem about 100x louder than it is, so I was treading this fine line of trying to stay as quiet as possible (I didn't want the neighbours to know that I was living there) and yet in the world of my headphones I was trying to make the thickest, brickwall smothering of sound that I could.

I wanted to make the music suitable for walking around on your own at night, so I would test it out by going for a walk, coming back and making modifications where necessary.

Photographs were taken from the historic Melbourne CBD Powerstation that I managed to sneak into before it was demolished.
